Rasheed completed his LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2010 and the Bar Professional Training Course from Lincoln’s Inn in 2012. After completing his initial training at Aitzaz Ahsan and associates Rasheed joined Ahmed & Pansota, a chamber specializing in banking and finance litigation. During his legal practice Rasheed has represented several prominent parties including the MCB, Maple Leaf Cement, Security General Insurance and the Punjab Industrial Estate. He has also done groundbreaking original work as he was involved in the initiation of a first of its kind winding up petition on behalf of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as the filing of a writ petition challenging the vires of the Competition Commission. Rasheed is a valuable addition to our team as he inculcates in his teaching methods his 3 years of litigation experience, amalgamating legal theory and practice. Having always been passionate about teaching, while in college he was part of the team that pioneered the student mentorship programme to help students and upon graduation despite pursuing a fulltime legal career he has always found time to further impart knowledge.
